As a canine physical therapist, but most important as a pet owner, I highly recommend pet insurance to my friends, family, and clients. The business of pet insurance has grown exponentially in the last few years, reaching a record 1.6 million policies by the end of 2015. That may seem like a lot, but it is not when considering that approximately 85 million households own a pet. When deciding on a policy for your pet, it is important to know the details of the policy and what each company offers. To assist with that, the AARV has developed a very useful guideline that summarizes the policy coverage regarding canine rehabilitation from the most common pet insurance companies in the United States.
